Srinagar, city, summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir union territory (Jammu is the winter capital), northern India, situated in the Kashmir region of the Indian subcontinent. The city lies along the banks of the Jhelum River at an elevation of 5,200 feet (1,600 metres) in the Vale of Kashmir.Situated amid clear lakes and lofty forested mountains, Srinagar has long had a considerable tourist economy. Along its course through the city, the Jhelum River is spanned by several wooden bridges, and numerous adjacent canals and waterways abound with shikara, the gondolas of Kashmir. Srinagar is well known for its temples; the Hazratbal Mosque contains a hair that reportedly belonged to the Prophet Muhammad, and the Jāmiʿ Masjid (Congregational Mosque), built in the 15th century, is said to be the largest mosque in Kashmir. Dal Lake, with its “floating gardens,” is a well-known attraction, as are the nearby Shalimar and Nishat gardens.
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing
The second day of your tour is booked for sightseeing, and it includes the Mughal Cheshmashahi Gardens (Royal Spring), Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar (The Residence of Love). These three Mughal Gardens are known for their beauty that reaches perfection being complemented by mountains, flowers and lakes. Then comes in the list is Shankaracharya Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. With all these and many other activities, your day will culminate.
Day 3: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar
The day filled with excitement as it will begin with your journey to “The Golden Meadow”, better known as Sonamarg. A destination that is 9000 above sea level. Surrounded by mountains- up to 5300 meters high, the valley is divided by a buttress of the “Thajwas Range.” Baltal (Amarnath Pilgrimage Base Camp)- 15 Kms north of Sonamarg. Considering the high altitude and safety of our guests, we have arranged for the best of the drivers to take you to this destination.
Day 4: Srinagar – Pahalgam
On day 4, our luxury buses will pick you up from the hotel/houseboat and drive to the next destination, Pahalgam “Village of Shepherds”; en-route visit the famous saffron culture, the ruins Awantipura (9th century), and Martand Temple (Temple of the Sun). Watching these sites throughout the road journey is mesmerizing and will stay in your memory for a lifetime.
Day 5: Pahalgam – Gulmarg
On the 5th day of the tour, our buses will drive you to “Meadow of Flowers”, the Gulmarg. Gulmarg has a famous golf course (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf courses in the world) and the ski resort that was used as a retreat by British civil servants during summers and winters respectively.
Day 6: Gulmarg – Srinagar Airport
The last day of the tour. Our luxury buses will bring you back to your destinations. Throughout the route, you can enjoy sightseeing. You will be in Delhi by evening with an unforgettable and mesmerizing experience.
