Jammu and Kashmir is know as crown of india the state of Jammu & Kashmir share border with Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the south, while it also has an international border with Pakistan (Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir) in the west and northwest and Republic of China in north and northeast. This is also the reason why this famous all over the world. The state is carefully divided in to three prime regions namely, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The Summer Capital is Srinagar for a period of 6 months from May – Oct ending and The Winter Capital is Jammu for a period of six months from November – April ending.
Day 1 Arrival In Srinagar
Board your flight. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will meet our representative who will assist you to board the coach for transfer to your respective hotel. Half-day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens i.e. Nishat Garden Shalimar Garden and Cheshma Shahi. In the late Evening Shikara Ride on dal lake Upto 1 Hour. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2 Srinagar City Tour
Start early as we will be having a day of spiritual blessings. For those who are devotees of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Achariya Temple is a must. It is strategically located on top of a hill. Get the spiritual vibes from the 2500-year-old temple and simultaneously muse your eyes with the beautiful whole Dal lake view. On the way, you could also visit the famous Parimahal known primarily for being the musical court of Mughal King Shah Jahan. If you are in Nigheen and have not seen the Hazratbal Mosque then you have missed a major site of attraction both spiritually and by virtue of nature. This mosque is famous for its picturesque view and holding the distinction of the presence of Holy relic believed to be the strands of hair of Prophet Muhammad’s beard. Retire back to your hotel for dinner and a night’s stay.
Day 3 | Srinagar | Gulmarg
After breakfast, we proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is at a travel distance of 55 Km from Srinagar city which is to be covered in an hour. We could halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. We will check in to the hotel and freshen up for mesmerizing visuals of Gulmarg aptly called a winter paradise. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley, and Maharaja Palace. Walk back to your hotel, Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed for a night stay
Day 4 | Gulmarg
A warm cup of tea with a delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast to explore Meadow of Gold. Gulmarg aptly called as winter paradise. The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley, and Maharaja Palace. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerize you will the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. If you have a nick for winter sports then you could buckle up yourself for snow skiing, sledding, snow bikes, and ATV bikes. Walk back to your hotel, Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed for a night stay.
Day 5 |Gulmarg | Pahalgam
A warm cup of tea with a delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel after breakfast and move towards Pahalgam. The journey will take around 2 and a half hours and you should visit the famous Awantipora Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipora ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiman who ruled during AD 855-833 You should visit the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley, and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam Club, Children Park, and Zoo is a must. Move to your hotel and relax with a delicious dinner and a night’s stay.
Day 6 | Pahalgam | Katra
Start your day early as you will need to travel to Katra which is around 250 km and a journey of 8 hours. On the way, you could stop at Patnitop which lies in the Himalayan range. Since it is a spiritual journey we could visit Nag Temple being 600 years old and famous for the Nag Panchami festival. We can also visit Nathatop for a clear view of the Himalayas from an altitude of around 10, 000 ft. above sea level. Check in to your hotel for a delicious dinner and retire back to your room for a night’s stay.
Day 7 | Katra
After breakfast, we will drop you at Katra Helipad. Start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan by Helicopter. Katra – Sanjhichat – Katra by Helicopter. After puja, aarti & darshan, return back to Sanjhichat to catch your return helicopter for Katra. On arrival check-in, your hotel & relax. Overnight stay at Katra.
Day 8 | Katra | Jammu
After breakfast time is free till departure Jammu to Katra distance is 50 Kms approx Check out from the hotel & transfer by car to Jammu Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
